Hello! My name is Kaitlin, and I'm a scenic artist and designer with a passion for visual storytelling. I’m fascinated by the way environments can go beyond simply setting the scene and can become active participants in shaping the narrative.
Every project provides a new opportunity to be a visual storyteller and create a space that not only supports the actors and story, but also represents the diversity of experiences that make up our world. I strive to create environments that invite the audience into these worlds, where they can gain a deeper understanding and connection to the stories being told.

Kaitlin Hannah is a recent MFA graduate in Scenic Design at the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL), where she has had the opportunity to design for several productions, including The Importance of Being Earnest, Agbedidi, The Prom, and The Pliant Girls. Most recently she designed backdrops for Xanadu at the Art Farm at Serenbe. Prior to pursuing her MFA, Kaitlin worked for several years as a scenic artist and earned a BA in Theatre Design and Production from Purdue University.
